A fun, energetic dance space for teens ages 13–18 — open to the public every Friday and Saturday night in Cumberland, Maryland.
SAFE ENVIROMENT
Whakamana is open to teens ages 13–18. To help every event run responsibly, each teen completes event check-in and has the required parent or guardian agreement on file before joining the dance floor. Clear conduct expectations, trained staff, and capacity controls help us create a positive, structured night for everyone.

From Hip-Hop Night to Cowboy Night to 80s Throwback — every Friday and Saturday is a different vibe. Themed nights, DJ sets, and a community of teens who actually know each other. This is not a random crowd. This is your crew.

We play the music you actually listen to. Hip-hop, pop, throwbacks, country, and rock — our DJs read the crowd and keep the energy high all night long. Teens help shape the themes. Your voice helps shape the night.

Whakamana is a Teen dance facility dedicated to cultivating a positive social environment where Teens are inspired to grow, lead, and thrive. Our mission is to motivate Teens to hold themselves to high standards, develop meaningful friendships, and become active contributors to their community — all within a safe, structured, and uplifting space. Whakamana is more than a place to dance — this is an investment in their future, build confidence, character, and community.

Whakamana is open to the public for teens ages 13–18. Every dance is a chance to meet people, enjoy great music, and be part of a positive local community. Before attending, take these quick steps so we can keep the night organized and welcoming for everyone.
RSVP OR CHECK THE SCHEDULE
Check the upcoming dance schedule and RSVP when a registration link is provided. Event details, admission information, and any capacity updates will be posted for each date.
PARENT OR GUARDIAN AGREEMENT
A parent or legal guardian must complete the required registration and agreements before their teen participates. This helps us maintain clear communication and a responsible event process.
Read & Agree to the Code of Conduct
Every teen attending must review and follow the Whakamana Dance Floor Code of Conduct. Respect the space, respect each other, and help keep the energy positive.

Every Saturday we host a FREE line dance class from 7-8pm. We are planing also introducing theme nights from Hip-Hop Night to Cowboy Night to 80s Throwback, check the schedule, choose your vibe, and come ready to dance.
